Your Choices : We think that you benefit from a more personalized experience when we know more about you and what you like. However, you can limit the information you provide to Mintea, and you can limit the communications that Mintea sends to you. (a) Commercial Emails You may choose not to receive commercial emails from us by following the instructions contained in any of the commercial emails we send or by logging into your account and adjusting your email preferences. Please note that even if you unsubscribe from commercial email messages, we may still email you non-commercial emails related to your account and your transactions on the Platform. You may update your subscription preferences at any time. (b) Cookies and Tracking You may manage how your browser handles Cookies by adjusting its privacy and security settings. Mintea Platform does not serve ads. For more information review our Cookies Policy. Currently, we do not alter our data collection and use practices in response to Do Not Track signals. We use Non-Identifiable Information to directly serve you interest-based ads on third party websites. (c) Record Data You may manage how your mobile record and mobile browser share certain Record Data with Mintea as well as how your mobile browser handles Cookies by adjusting the privacy and security settings on your mobile record. Please refer to instructions provided by your mobile service provider or the manufacturer of your record to learn how to adjust your settings. (d) Emails from Business Partners If you wish to opt out of receiving offers directly from our Business Partners, you can follow the opt-out instructions in the emails that they send you.

When and Why Mintea Discloses Information : We (or our Vendors on our behalf) may share your Personal Information as required or permitted by law: with any Mintea Affiliate who may only use the Personal Information for the purposes described in this Privacy Statement; with our Vendors to provide services for us and who are required to protect the Personal Information; to report or collect on debts owed to us or our Business Partners; with relevant Business Partners: with whom we jointly offer products and services; to facilitate a direct relationship with you, including in connection with any program we administer on behalf of the Business Partner; to enable electronic communications with you as part of purchase, a sponsored reward, offer, contest, program, or other activity in which you have elected to participate; to the extent you have purchased or redeemed a Mintea voucher, goods or services offered by a Business Partner or participated in an offer, rewards, contest or other activity or Other Programs sponsored or offered through Mintea on behalf of that Business Partner; with a purchaser of Mintea or any of the Mintea Affiliates (or their assets); to comply with legal orders and government requests, or as needed to support auditing, compliance, and corporate governance functions; to combat fraud or criminal activity, and to protect our rights or those of our Affiliates, users, and Business Partners, or as part of legal proceedings affecting Mintea; in response to a subpoena, or similar legal process, including to law enforcement agencies, regulators, and courts in the United States and other countries where we operate; or with your consent. We encourage Business Partners to adopt and post privacy policies. However, their use of Personal Information obtained through Mintea is governed by their privacy policies and is not subject to our control. We may also disclose Non-Identifiable Information: for the same reasons we might share Personal Information; with Business Partners for their own analysis and research; to facilitate targeted content and ads; or with Third-Party Ad-Servers to place our ads and/or ads of our merchants or Business Partners on the Platform and on third-party sites, and to analyze the effectiveness of those ads. We do not share Personal Information with Third-Party Ad-Servers; however, Third-Party Ad-Servers may automatically collect Non-Identifying Information about your visit to the Platform and other websites, your record address, your Internet Service Provider and the browser you use to visit the Platform. How Mintea Collects Information : You provide us with your Personal Information when you register, subscribe, create an account, make a purchase, or otherwise when you provide us with your Personal Information during your interaction with the Platform and Other Programs. We also collect Personal Information when you contact us online for customer service and other support using self-help tools, such as email, text, or by posting to an Online Community. We also receive Personal Information and other online and offline information from Other Sources. Mintea will use such information in accordance with applicable laws. Security of Personal Information : Mintea has implemented an information security program that contains administrative, technical and physical controls that are designed to reasonably safeguard Personal Information. For example, we use industry-standard encryption technology to secure Financial Account Information. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Accessing and Correcting Personal Information : You can access, update and delete your Financial Account Information and the other information you provided to us by managing this information through your online account or sending us an email at support@mymintea.com. Keeping your Personal Information current helps ensure that we, our Affiliates and Business Partners offer you the offers that are most relevant to you. If you want to deactivate your Mintea account or have other questions or requests, please contact us. While we are ready to assist you in managing your subscriptions, deactivating your account, and removing your active profile, we cannot always delete records of past interactions and transactions. For example, we are required to retain records relating to previous purchases on the Platform for financial reporting and compliance reasons. We will retain your Personal Information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services and to maintain a record of your transactions for financial reporting purposes. Social Networks : Social Community Areas The Platform may be accessible through or contain connections to areas where you may be able to publicly post information, communicate with others such as discussion boards or blogs, review products and merchants, and submit media content. Prior to posting in these areas, please read our Terms of Use carefully. All the information you post may be accessible to anyone with Internet access, and any Personal Information you include in your posting may be read, collected, and used by others. We recommend that you do not post any Personal Information in the social community areas. Social Networks You may log in to the Platform using certain social network credentials. To manage the sharing of certain Personal Information with us when you connect with us through social networking platforms or applications refer to the privacy policy and settings of the social networking website or application. You also have the option to link social networks, such as Facebook, to your Mintea account. Once you register with Mintea and connect with the social network, you will be able to automatically post recent Mintea activity back to your social network. You can enable and disable social network connections from the `Connections´ tab in your Mintea account. By proceeding through any of the above steps, you grant Mintea permission to access all of the elements of your social network profile information that you have made available to be shared and to use it in accordance with the social network's terms of use and this Privacy Statement.
Privacy Practices of Third Parties : This Privacy Statement only addresses the use and disclosure of information by Mintea through your interaction with the Platform. Other websites that may be accessible through links from the Platform and Other Programs may have their own privacy statements and personal information collection, use, and disclosure practices. Our Business Partners may also have their own privacy statements. By using Mintea, you represent that you are at least eighteen years old and understand that you must be at least eighteen years old in order to create an account and purchase the goods or services advertised through the Platform. Glossary of Terms : Affiliate means an entity owned, directly or indirectly, by Mintea or that is controlled by or under common control with Mintea, and also includes joint ventures entered into by Mintea and/or its Affiliates. Business Partners means, collectively, third parties with whom we conduct business, such as merchants, co-marketers, distributors, and resellers. Cookie means a unique identifier, usually made up of small bits of text or code. For more information, please read our Cookies Policy. Record Data means information concerning a record you use to access, use, or interact with the Platform, such as operating system type or mobile record model, browser type, domain, and other system settings, the language your system uses and the country and time zone of your record, geo-location, unique record identifier or other record identifier, mobile phone carrier identification, and record software platform and firmware information. Non-Identifying Information means information that alone cannot identify you, including data from Cookies, Pixel Tags and Web Beacons, and Record Data. Non-Identifying Information may be derived from Personal Information. Pixel Tags and Web Beacons means tiny graphic images placed on website pages or in our emails that allow us to determine whether you have performed specific actions. Third-Party Ad-Servers means Vendors and other third parties that provide the technology to place ads on websites and track ad performance. Vendors means, collectively, third parties that perform business operations on behalf of Mintea, such as transaction processing, billing, mailing, communications services (email, direct mail, etc.), marketing, data processing and analytics, servicing, collections, or ad management.
Self Regulatory Frameworks : Mintea has certified to its compliance with the Safe Harbor privacy framework for the handling of Personal Information transferred from the EEA/CH. The European Community has established a data protection regime pursuant to Directive 95/46/EC (the `Directive´). The Directive applies to the European Economic Area (`EEA´). Switzerland has also established a data protection regime pursuant to the Federal Act on Data Protection (`FADP´). These regimes restrict companies in the EEA and Switzerland (collectively, `EEA/CH´) from transferring Personal Information about individuals in the EEA/CH to the United States, unless there is `adequate protection´ for such Personal Information when it is received in the United States.
